Art Direction, Pop Up Experience, Product/Packaging

In 2013 I opened a store in Tokyo’s fashion center of Harajuku at the La Foret shopping mall.  La Foret is a world famous destination for new and emerging brands from growing brands like Joy Rich to tiny start-ups like mine.  I did this with the guidance and financial support of the Japanese retailer Lazy Susan for whom I had been a designer for four years at the time.  We sold about 60% original product that I designed and 40% from other international designers of my choosing.  I art directed all shoots for the branded shop, and of course designed the shop interior.  I was involved with choosing shop staff and just about every aspect of running the 6 month pop-up.  Below is a documentation of the brand and shop from interior to social media influencer collaboration.
