In the summer of 2017 Macy’s launched an entirely new and exciting loyalty program aimed at rewarding customers who shop with their Macy’s card. It includes a three tier system with ascending rewards along the way. I was deeply involved in the conception and execution of how we present this program to the consumer across all digital platforms. I studied and presented experiences from Pokemon Go to airline loyalty programs to achieve a dashboard for the program where the customer can check her tier statue, points earned, and “play” with points.
Macy’s describes the program: Macy’s Cardholders get new & exclusive benefits when shopping at Macy’s with a Macy’s Credit Card! The amount you spend at Macy’s within the calendar year when using your Macy’s Credit Card determines your loyalty status with Star Rewards. (The more you shop, the better your benefits get!)
